Once again thank you for your help & hope this proves to be some use to somebody else. Hopefully you might be able to advise someone else with the same problem in the future. The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0. Seems to me that CC cleaner is either to abrasive or for some reason it just doesn't agree with myĬomputer. Now both ITunes and Windows Update are running perfecty. Installing this kit and placing the CRT DLL files into the AutoCAD 2017 folder seems to resolve the issue. The Universal CRT files are part of the Windows 10 SDK kit. Method 2: If the above did not work, then here is my advanced solution. I've reapeated the steps to restore the computer again but this time without running CC Cleaner. Reboot then try to launch AutoCAD 2017 again.
#Api ms win crt runtime l1 1 0.dll office 2016 install#
The computer had on it a free trial of Officeģ65 & Macafee, I would un install those then, thinking I'm doing the sensible thing I would run 'CC Cleaner' After describing to him how I restore the computer too factory settings he asked me what I do next. Just thought I'd let you know the problem has been solved following a conversation with an I T guy at work. Updates : api-ms-win-core-file-l1-2-0.dll : ApiSet Stub DLL: api-ms-win-core-file-l2-1-0.dll : ApiSet Stub DLL: api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0. It is unfortunately true that upgrades to Windows can make other hardware & software incompatible.

You could always use disc imaging software like Macrium reflect to backup your 8.1 before updating to 10 then if it doesn’t fix the problem or you experience other problems you can quickly return to Hopefully Windows 10 will fix the problem you’re having.
